Oct. 5th, 2001 09:12 pmI took home some dinner from the grocery store this evening. The cashier looked at me funny -- "Sushi and sweet-potato pie?" she asked. I shrugged. It sounded good (and it was :)
I drove home with my truck windows down, smelling the city washed by an afternoon rain, the autumn chill holding down the smells of wet concrete and leaves just starting to turn color.
I'm working on a short fiction piece I can't get out of my head. A couple lines of dialog are killing me, but I'll work my way through it.
Oh yeah. My Robot is Roy Batty. I didn't like the banner (the banner has Rutger Hauer looking too much like Lon Chaney in The Mummy. A great disservice.) So I'll put up my own pic:
