34 years ago tonight, in an Army hospital outside of Monterey, California, I was being born, greatly irritating the Army doctors who wanted to watch the final episode of The Fugitive on TV.

Today I have to work, then get to bed early as I have a before-dawn biz flight to Boston for the next couple days.
