Nice in the summer. Makes you almost forget how damn cold this place can get in the winter months. The harbor is still kinda pretty. The *&%$% hole in the center of town is still screwing up traffic.

I'm sometimes nostalgic for New England. I lived here for a while as a kid, and I went to school in upstate New York which, while not technically New England, is a half-hour drive from it. I'm less than an hour from Maine, which is the only state on the Atlantic I've never been too. Maybe tomorrow after work I'll do something about that technicality.

Nice hotel -- they make a good vodka martini ;-P

Looks like I sold my house (as part of the divorce -- we're splitting the equity). Almost what I wanted for it, which is close enough. The thing was only on the market for a week, so I'm taking the money and running. Did you know that the equity from a house is tax free (under 500k) for married (technically) owners?
