Weekend in retrospect
May. 14th, 2001 02:10 pmBack in Atlanta....
UK is postponed, perhaps indefinately, so goeth the biz. May still happen in the next month, may not, depending on the gods of commerce, technology, and air travel.
St. Pete Beach was a blast, lots of family I hadn't seen in a while, a pretty wedding on white sand. Went charter fishing yesterday and caught some spanish mackeral and a bit of mild sunburn.
A long drive both ways, a road trip introspection I haven't taken in a while (at least on the actual road in an actual car). A lot of thoughts sorted out, which merely spawn new ones to sort out in turn.
Introspection can be a trap if one is not careful. I keep instinctively believing if I think about things enough, I'll be able to work my way towards a happy solution when, in reality, there may not be one. At least in the short term.
To find oneself so intimately may preclude the knowing of others.
Talking is a good thing.
Sex is a good thing.
Good things can sometimes complicate life more than the bad.
