(no subject)

Heading to LA tomorrow morning until late Wed/Early Thurs (depending on which timezone you're in). Good news is my new laptop has a nice modem, and my ISP has a local dialup in LA, so I'll be able to get my daily dose of Spam even from the west coast.

Weather.com says three days of rain -- isn't LA supposed to be desert? I'm stopping in Vegas for a couple hours each way, and it looks like three days of rain there, too.

So I'm on the weather channel, and I see one of their banners:

I assume that's a tree or something behind the logo. I thought at first glance, that it was a retina print.

Just procrastinating packing for my trip.

Cooked out on the grill tonight. Though it was probably too cold to grill in retrospect, we were craving charcoal, so it was worth it :)

Added a couple more interests. I have 8 now that no one else has, though I don' think I've phrased them in a way that makes them hard to match, nor do I have 592 interests listed like some LJers. I don't know what I'm more surprised about -- that those 8 are unmatched, or that some of the other ones actually are matched.

I'm in an artistic apreciation upswing lately. I'm reading James Ellroy, and I'm captivated. I browse the Net for Leonardo Nierman images

and I'm enthralled. I'm listening to random MP3s, from old Industrial to new rock, and I'm hooked.

The trees are blooming, it's Spring in Atlanta, and it's about fucking time.
