To my spanish speaking friends out there...

In English, the "#" key on the phone is generally accepted to be "the pound key" even though it's real name is "octothorpe". Does that key have a generally accepted name in Spanish?

Also, the "*" is usually called "the star key". Is that estrella in spanish, or is there a generally more accepted term when it refers to the telphone keypad?

yes, we have them, they usually say "presione el simbolo de numero"
