(no subject)

Karma just kissed me full on the lips, and it was tasty.

So I'm driving on one of the Atlanta highways during lunch, and a motorcycle cop nails me on the side of the road. I mean, he gets me bang on -- 80 in a 60 zone, and as I saw him and tried to slow down, he pointed his radar at me, looked at it, dropped it, and immediately jumped on his bike.

I'm caught. I figure I can try to scoot up the highway a bit to my exit, but I don't want to piss him off. I figure I can start to pull over, and do the "I'm sorry, I know you got me" plead for a warning, but I don't want to make it too easy for the cop. Instead, I pull in front of a semi, as my exit is coming up.

I see the guy about 1/4 - 1/2 mile back, weaving in and out of lanes with his siren on, looking for me. Then he gives up. I mean, I was right there in front of the semi, I wasn't invisible or anything, he just doesn't see me, or he forgets what I look like. He just gives up and pulls over to the side of the road.

*schaaamooch* from Ms. Karma ;)

I agree. That's my tax money paying that cop's salary and I want your ass nailed. Bastard speeder.

[Sherahi, who has never been pulled over in her life for a speeding ticket or ANY law breaking activity cause she's a good girl. But she hates assholes who always get away with breaking the law.]

I am sure Carmen will "make it up to me" tenfold.

I'll speak to her most directly about it. Perhaps suggest a reaaaaaaaaally good seasickness episode next time you expect some nice weather. Or maybe something special in your house will suddenly go missing. Orrrr, perhaps you'll once again miss your soulmate by mere seconds and a glance in the wrong direction.

Bad karma can suck.

Once again? How many times did that happen?
*looks over shoulder*

Sounds like Karma is good friends with Neptune, Mercury (or St. Andrew) *and* Cupid.

Seasick once was one time too many. Dramamine is my very good friend.
