(no subject)

Still in Boston. Had some last minute bugs that my employee and I were trying to fix...make that *he* was trying to fix while some brass and I were standing around nervously, probably being more annoying than helpful. Couldn't fix it, but found what the problem was, which is half the battle.

We hopped in the car and tore off down the Mass Pike at 85 MPH to the airport. Missed it by 10 minutes. They had already given away our seats, and only had one left on the plane. So, being the good boss that I am (coughcough), I let him go home and I'm flying out at 6AM tomorrow morning.

I'm at the Hyatt Harborside, the beautiful hotel next to the airport with a skyline view of Boston. The hotel food is wonderful, I had tuna tartare just like the last time I was here, and it was just as perfect as I remember it to have been.

Sleep soon.

I have a feeling the kind gesture was brought on by thoughts of the tuna tartare.

Nola...you are a wise and insightful woman. *big grin* ;)

How's Otis?

Hehe...he's on the mend. The vet is waiting for his peritonitis (infected body cavity) to clear up and for him to poop so he can see if the reconstructed bowel is working.

Bless his little feline heart.

The thoughts were definitely there :)

But, truly, being the boss sometimes sucks.
