60 degrees already (15-16 for you Centigradients.) A couple more higher later on. Blue sky. Puffy white clouds. Daffodils are starting to pop out of the ground, and some unidentifiable bush outside my apartment is starting to bloom with big red flowers (*).

I've been asking "Is it Spring yet?" all winter long.

It's looking like Spring.

(*)It's a leafy bush, but stretched tall, about 6 foot, with round greenish buds a little smaller than a golfball. The flowers are dark red, like a rose, with longish, yellow pistils.

Not quite, they're a less petally. I thought they were peonies, too, but I'm not so sure now that they're starting to bloom. Still could be, though, cuz outside of South Florida tropical, my botany is a bit rusty. I'll post a pic when I get home, and you can publically BBQ me if they are indeed peonies :)

When you do, smell the flower and tell us if its fragrant and include foilage in the photo. :)

But I bet she's right, I bet its Peonies. I can't grow those here nor could you in florida, they need chilling... I WISH I could...! Geez, fragrant peonies are just spectacular!
